If you've arrived at this page you must be curious about me and how Dazzle Designz came to be. My self-taught artistry began as a child when a love for the arts turned into a passion & brought out my creative side. Since then I have done everything from writing poetry & children's short stories to designing jewelry, handbags & clothing. After my two children were born in the 80's I became a stay at home mom & devoted all of my time to them but when they began attending kindergarten I realized that I had some free time to once again pursue my passion...art!
I took up painting & did some work for a local home decor & gift shop painting clay pots & furniture. The owner of the shop was hired by a builder to decorate one of the homes to be featured in our local "Parade of Homes" where some of my painted pots were displayed & sold immediately. I continued to paint for the shop for a couple of years & also dabbled in ceramics after purchasing a kiln & sold many pieces to another local gift shop. Over the years, we have purchased several homes where I enjoyed painting faux finishes & murals.
This past year I opened an online children's decor boutique where I sold some of my painted furniture along with other children's artwork & decor items done by other artists but after I began learning web design I discovered I had a new passion so closed my children's boutique & started Dazzle Designz. I recently ordered a graphics tablet as I much prefer to create my own designs rather than purchasing graphics that other designers are using. This will enable me to be more creative & produce designs that are both original & unique to the web design market. Please check back for the announcement of my tablets arrival & original graphics!
